Francesco Bergamini

Francesco BergaminiFrancesco Bergamini was born in Turin (IT). He took up the study of the violin at age of nine in the city music school and the piano with his father (organist). Student of Sergio Lamberto at the Turin Conservatory of Music, during his studies on the modern violin he started focusing on the historically informed performance of XVII and XVIII centuries music, following masterclasses with E. Casazza, F. Fernandez, C. Rousset and others. At the moment he is completing his studies on the baroque violin at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague under the guide of Enrico Gatti. Very active as soloist and chamber musician he played concerts in different settings in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Netherlands. With the group L’Arco Sonoro, co-founded with the italian harspichord player Edoardo Valorz, in the last three years has been invited in many early music festivals in Europe and South Korea.
